The film creates a composite image of what the flora and fauna of the area currently look like—contrasting this with likely scenarios should full-scale mining occur without sufficient oversight and mining company accountability to the community. The film includes the stark impacts of such mining activity on the water and wildlife and the people who live and recreate in this unique biologically-diverse area.
