Join us for a gentle morning hike along the Smith Canyon Loop Trail at the Borderlands Wildlife Preserve and get to know BRN Conservation Director Joaquin Murrieta-Saldivar. Participants will learn about landscape ecology and watershed conservation.

Joaquin holds a Doctorate in Natural Resource Studies from the University of Arizona, specializing in human perception and relation to the natural world. Joaquin’s uplifting personality will make for an enjoyable and lively outing!
